[edit] Core beliefs/ Primary teachings
- Zealism is the belief in using the energy of the universe. To be one with it, to become a piece in the intricate weave. Zealism teaches people from a young age the art of Weaponmancy, as well as work to better an individual. Those who are members train constantly, and meditate towards enlightenment.
Ascention In Zealism a Person can follow the path of Chi towards either helping others. Those who help others and follow the rules of Zealism strictly, and without outside interferance (T.V., Radio, Technology.) Will Ascend to godlikeness. There bodies are destroyed, and nothing of them remains. Ascention can also come when a person dies. When ascended you can do almost anything, but your powers are limited. Since no one has spoken to an ascended the powers are unknown. Since there are many intelligent species all accross the universe it is believed there is a near infinite amount of ascended beings. Some are called angels others gods.
Descention If a person can Ascend, then to can a person Descend. To descend is to become like a demon. Self serving, lusting for power. If they still follow the path of chi but warp it towards there own dark pleasures they will find themselves constanly sick, or physicly weaker. Eventualy they will go mad and do great evils. When they die they will descend into demonhood. To be nothing, never to form a body. All they can do is try and take a new one. They are weak and pathetic beings. Do to an ininite universe there is an infinite amount of species, and thus an infinite amount of Descended creatures.
The Elements Zealism believes in seven divine elemental energies. A person is born with one, and as they grow they develope a second layer depending on how they were raised. The Core element will manifest only after large amounts of meditation. While the Second layer is more easy to tap into.
The Seven elemental energies are; Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Light, Shadow, and Lightning.
God The Closest thing that Zealism has to a god is the Divine Consciousness. The Balance, and order that exist with all things. That which thrives in all things. This is the only creator, the founder of the universe. That which exist outside of time and space. Ascention does not just occur on earth, it occurs everywhere. There are theories within Zealism about the gods of other religions. Some claim them to be acsended being that became corrupted by there own power. The primary belief of Zealism is that the gods of other religions is in fact all part of the Divine Consciousness. There is much strife in this part of Zealism, we are yet to see which side is to win
Path of Chi The Path of chi is the path of training, of meditation, of enlightenment. The path of Chi is neutral, it represents the natural world.The Path of chi is overlaped by two other paths that are parellel to each other. Those who follow no path are reincarnated, those who follow the path of chi are reincarnated, but shall have some memories.
Path of Others The path of Others is the path of solitude. You msut find solitude and meditate and train for three months. When you return you will use all of your ability to help others. To give to others, to die for others. This path is of goodness, of purity. Those who follow this path will one day ascend.
Path of Self The path of Self is the path of destruction. To follow this path is to fall forever into evil and corruption. To lust for power yet never have enough. The Path of Self is the path of evil, and leads to descention.

Within Zealism there are two primary factions. There are the Black Dragons, then there are the Sinbain. Each follow the basic beliefs of Zealism, but both also have there own additional beliefs. this is where they will be described.
Black Dragons
The Black Dragons are extremely loyal to the Dragon Blood, Nick Kempin and his descendents. He was the Founder of Weaponmancy, the holy power that was granted to all who followed his teachings. They guard him with there lives. They train directly beneath the dragon blood, he is there lord, there master, there king. Followers of Black Dragon zealism follow a code. As well as they have a ranking system for there members.
The following is a list of rules. 1. Meditate once per day. 2. Train once per week. 3. Do not be decieved by mortal thought. 4. Open your mind to the divine. 5. Follow your master. 6. Respect your elders. 7. Do not kill, unless in defense. 8. Show pity on the weak. 9. Practice control of emotions. 10. Do not give into the corruption of society.
Member- this is either a new convert, or a person who isn't ready to become an apprentice.
Apprentice- This person has proven his/her devotion to zealism and is trained by a master of Zealism. With the guidance and approval of a master they are taught weaponmancy.
Guardian- Once the master agrees to it the Apprentice is given a series of trials. If The trials are past the apprentice becomes a Guardian. The Guardian continues training and aids his master in the training of his next apprentice.
Master- Once per year the council will select a Guardian from there local region to be given the rank of Master. Master's are in charge of training themselves, and teaching others. Masters also must have a great amount of skill in weaponmancy and a nearly divine understanding of the way of Zealism.
Council- Once every five years the council is created by an election. The masters nominate several people to be on the council. The entire local group (members as well.) vote on who will be on the council.
The Black Dragons also follow the three fundamentals. The Three Fundamentals 1.Self-discipline 2.Knowledge 3.Chi
SinBain Followers of Josh Sessions. They put justice above all, and they wil get it any way they can. Many use rage and anugish to get it as well as destruction. Sinbain is often shunned by Zealism as a whole but they are still a part of it non the less. Sinbain makes up a minority of Zealim.
Followers of Sinbain tend to be agressive and chaotic. They see chaos as the only perfect force and they believe that the universe is chaotic, and so is Chi.
[edit] Founding
- Zealism was founded on February 12 2001 by Nick Kempin, Stetson Shirley, Josh Sessions, and Ileana Pendley. - Nick Kempin has left the Religion due to Corruption of the base idelas by several members. He has since founded a new belief.
