Saint Wilfrid (c. 634 - April 24, 709; also called Wilfrith and Wilfred) was a bishop who lived in the seventh century. He is well known for his scuffles with St. Theodore of Tarsus and for his sharing of the See of York with St. Chad of Mercia.
