[edit] Talk

Apparently you don't know where your talk page is. Moogle 19:04, 18 Mar 2005 (EST)

Hi Moogle. Apparently I didn't when I started this, right. It's a bit confusing with all the wiki engines I deal with. Mediawiki was all new to me last year, know? The link on my user page was wrong, fixed now. Thanks for copying the religion article. MattisManzel 09:19, 19 Mar 2005 (EST)

Yes, that is my talk page. I am glad that you have found yours. What do you mean copying? Moogle 20:45, 22 Mar 2005 (EST)
copying in I meant, sorry. MattisManzel

G'day MattisManzel.

Hi Andrewa. I moved your text to the forum - the better place for things that rather concern religion-wiki and not me personally. MattisManzel

[edit] Proposal for a Civil Society Quarter page on central Wikicities

Hi Mattis... Wondered if you might be interested in a proposal currently on the central Wikicities site, and associated discussion, exploring possibilities for greater co-operation and collaboration specifically between 'Civil Society' type wikicities (or wikicities on the slightly more serious type topics i.e. probably not gaming, sci fi etc). People new to wikicities and just seeing the most active section on the wikicities main page might conclude that there's not much (or enough) in it for them in if they're more interested in the slightly more serious stuff. The proposal is: Proposal for a Civil Society Quarter page. If you're able to take a look, or actually support the proposal if you feel able to, that'd be great! Thanks, Regards Philralph 14:06, 8 Nov 2005 (UTC) ps Please feel free to pass on this message to others if you feel it appropriate.

[edit] Invite

Dear Mattis,

I'd like to invite you to join the RWiki Yahoo Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rwiki/.

Here's my preliminary description of the group:

This group is an informal association of administrators of religiously-based wikis. Most of us are using MediaWiki, but administrators of other wiki engines are also invited to join.

We envision this as a low-volume list where administrators of religiously rooted wiki communities can trade tips and ideas, work together to fight spambots and vandals, and so on.

RWiki is sponsored by OrthodoxWiki (http://www.orthodoxwiki.org). It is open to wikis based in all "recognized" religious communities. This generally does not include NRMs or groups commonly described as "cults."

The archives of this list are kept private, and membership is restricted to those who genuinely qualify for this kind of group.

Sincerely,

John S. (User:FrJohn at http://orthodoxwiki.org)

Thanx for your coment/compliment. Tyluthan 14:49, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

No offense but you should learn to spell better. Tyluthan 22:12, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] the up and coming "Liturgy:Pentecost" article

Hi Mattis,

I'm a new member of this community and am also new to writing wiki's. I decided to follow up the site's suggestion and write an article on the topic "Liturgy:Pentecost". [It is a work in progress and appears on my contributions list.] The problem that I'm now facing is the draft takes up too many bytes - 43, I think. Could you help in this area so that the size of the draft conforms to the correct size limit [32 or 33.] I was told to break the article up into smaller sections. I do not know how to do this. [My looney side seems to surface whenever there are technical matters to work out--sorry.] But I would appreciate any help from you or anyone else on this topic. Thank you. What's going on with the german wiki?

Hallo,

I wonder if you are still active on the german wiki. it seems that its pretty dead. the last edit was a year ago. I am intending to start a german wiki on wikia. Maybe if you are interested we can cooperate together. at the moment i am administrating the dutch religion wiki.

regards

Hi. Sorry for not caring enough about the religion-wiki. I'm pretty busy with the wiki-net. I don't know Mediawiki too good, I mostly work with oddmuse which can put out multiple feeds (Mediawiki includes feeds fine thought, s23-wiki - one big soup) . When there's Google Wave later this year it will all turn into one big feast of love. Thanks to all for helping here. I could fix up the Religions-wiki if you're interested. Best make a little edit. I follow the electronic pheromones anyway. ;)

it seems all the previous admins have quited the wiki. a few weeks a go Rev Bem and me have taken over the bureacrat controls. as you see I have already worked on it. and changed a lot. Friso Yoyon SchaapImage:Religstaff.png (talk) 21:37, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

about the german wiki, a few weeks ago i have registrated a german domain on wikia which is interlinked with this wiki. on the side you can see a drop down menu with languages wich are already interlinked onthe main page i have also connected other languages. I am also buracrat on the german and dutch wikia.
