The Monastic Protestant Community in Enonkoski is the only Evangelical Lutheran monastery in Finland. It is located in the village of Ihamaniemi in the Enonkoski municipality. The monastery building is an old elementary school building. The monastery was founded in 1994.[1] There is only one person, Sister Virva Tyrväinen, living permanently in the monastery.
