Tertulius was the prosecutor of Paul at the trial before the Roman procurator Felix, where Tertulius summed up his charges against Paul as follows:[1]

"The plain truth is that we find this man [Paul] a perfect pest; he stirs up trouble among Jews the world over, and is a ringleader of the Nazarene sect".
