Spendarmad is the twelfth and last month of the Zoroastrian calendar. It consists of thirty days, as do all Zoroastrian months, and is followed by the Gatha Days.
Spendarmad is the name of the Avestan Spenta Armaiti, one of the seven Amesha Spenta, or Holy Immortals. Spenta Amaiti is the creator of earth and patron of piety and devotion.
The fifth day of Spendarmad is Spendarmad Jashan, the name-day feast of Spenta Amaiti.
