The gods don't need to be worshiped because they created the universe by accident and are also dead, however we honer them by mimicking the things they did like further science by developing new weapons and making robots, start primitively and work your way up. Also strive to make your life easy and enjoyable.
[edit] PreUniverse 3.0 Legends
[edit] Universe 1.0
No one knows how universe 1.0 started but its quite widely known it ended with an implosion due to an expansion invert caused by a massive gravity flux. It all began when Thyorph and Zyorph were trying to create a quantum computer, details arnt important (or available)but basically their janitor, Ted, some how knocked out some vacuum energy transmitting tubes and cracked a tungsten insulator. Now if you don't know about quantum computers you may not think this would cause any damage to the machine but these precautions were needed for the massive amount of energy required to power the computer. You see Thyorph and Zyorph had been gathering massive amounts of energy from their star for the entire previous year and the vacuum energy transmitters were crucial so the pure energy wouldn't have to travel through a medium as it would have caused and matter to heat up beyond critical mass. similarly the tungsten insulators were to reflect any stray energy back to a safe route.
With those precautions now gone however, as soon as they turned it on all the energy was released into their small rented out room on the second floor of "Syithals Labs For Budding Scientists". The massive amount of energy instantly caused every atom to go critical from the neutrons they emitted from being so energized thus setting off a chain reaction where their entire planet turned into a very strange form of elemental energy/matter where all 4 primary forces (Gravity, Magnetism, and strong and weak nuclear forces) were all one elementary force and this caused the universe to collapse.

After this collapse the universe was an infinatly small infinatly hot speck of spacematter (that is just before it exploded of course). We don't know much about Universe 2.0 except it had a relatively short 7 billion year life, albeit a peaceful one with only 2 galactic wars breaking out compared to the 390 thousand of Universe 1. Yes this was a universe of science and discovery with evolving alien species harnessing electricity before fire and guns before arrows. Though peaceful many planets were in a cold war developing many exterminator robots and means to eradicate a planet of all life. among the most mass produced robot was the FX model 36.5650106² (the little dot means squared). approximately 3.9567x 10 to the 236th power were produced and the robot resembled a square box 36.5650106 inches squared with tank like wheels positioned underneath it and rectangle shaped eyes and mouth.
Anyway enough of that, many great things were created in universe 2.0 and some had quantum improbability fields (no not like from "Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy") which actually allowed then to survive the destruction of Universe 2.0 which was surprisingly similar to 1.0's destruction. Again it was the consequence of an attempt to make a quantum computer. This time it was much safer as it had water cooling instead of vacuum. The two scientists, Xil and Fil, were just booting it up and looked like they were playing the game "Worm", however, it was an important precaution for regulating the energy levels prior to running and to ensure that automated programs couldn't hack and vandalize their computer. As soon they got the last dot and the machine turned on the fundamental forces of the universe collapsed and structures just devolved like putting cotton candy in your mouth. Soon after that all the atoms floating through the now soup like universe 1.0 devolved into pure energy, then for some reason the energy decided to clump together until it was an was an infinatly small infinatly hot speck of spacematter (just before it exploded of course).

Soon after Universe 2.0s collapse it exploded in a big bang and basically went from there and if you don't know what happened then you should probobly stop reading the bible and pick up a text book.

this is the tricky part, it all depends on the state of mind your in when you die or your beliefs that you think as truths when your living. Many Christians, Muslims, and Jews go to "heaven" simply because they BELIEVE they go to heaven. similarly if some one believes in heaven and hell but had guilt and seriously worried about it they may go to hell. Many Atheists and other people who don't believe in an after life end up in a dimension were beings that have no thought of an afterlife end up. This dimension is actually relatively full of sentient aliens who are just atheists and by no means full of animals, in addition most creatures that can think can create what they want to in this dimension. Alternatively you may be reincarnated it this or any number of other universes with or without your memory or if your really good your conscience will remain intact and can look like what ever you want basically a ghost. Basically and infinite amount of things may happed it just depends on your state of mind

EX1 was the first mass produced war robot of this universe having been invented by the Zaldans only 780 million years after life formed on their planet. it is slightly obsolete but highly mass produced and durable much like the AK47. They resemble humans because they're supposed to, having been modeled after time traveling humans that the Zaldans observed exploring their planet and moons.
