(Update) This is the Religion-wiki Religion calendar. Here we list as many important religious festivals as we can find. We shall try to keep it up-to-date and as comprehensive as possible.

Even though different religious communities use different calendars, all events are listed by the Gregorian date on which they fall, and the determining date is given in brackets beside it. In many religious communities, certain observances are considered to start at sunset on the evening before the date given here.

The calendar is built through the template observe. This template contains all of the religious festivals for this year (or for all years for festivals fixed to the Gregorian calendar). Please add relevant events and make corrections to the template. Religion calendar construction has the list of festivals for all calendars.

Adding new entries

A little bit complicated. But add the festival first here, then edit the template here and insert the festival for the correct date for the current year (please also add a <noinclude> comment if this festival changes date each year so it is moved in the next year). If templates are over your head, then just add the festival to the first calendar and it will hopefully eventually get into the other.
