Description of service
Wikia currently provides free, advertising-supported, wiki hosting for online communities to edit. Wikia' content is made freely accessible for informational or entertainment purposes to anyone with a connection to the World Wide Web.
Wikia content
Wikia is a hosting provider, and takes no responsibility for the content uploaded by third parties. Wikia' designated agent will act to remove copyright violations in a timely manner following the receipt of a DMCA takedown request.
Wikia is provided "as is". Wikia has no responsibility for lack of availability of any wiki or of any particular content. You should be aware that the wikis are editable by the public, and, as such, may contain inappropriate content at any time.
Any use you make of Wikia must be in line with the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License.
Any content you upload or post to Wikia must be compatible with the GFDL, not violate another person's intellectual property or infringe on any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights. No content shall be added which violates any applicable law, including local, state, national, and international laws.

All content on any wiki is the responsibility of the person who uploaded it or added it to a wiki page. Wikia does not control the content, and does not approve the content before it is published. Although they are not obliged to do so, Wikia, or its designees, have the right to remove any content for any reason, including violation of these terms of use.
Page histories and mailing list archives are archives as defined under the US Copyright Act.
Use of the Wikia site
Use of Wikia is at your own risk.
Users of this service shall not act in a way on Wikia which would be harmful to minors. Users of this service shall not impersonate any other person or entity.
Users shall not harass other users or collect or publish personal information about them.
Wikia may terminate your use of the site, and administrators within each Wikia may terminate your ability to edit the site.
Commercial activities which have not been authorized by Wikia are not permitted on the site. You may not sell or otherwise commercially exploit the use of this service, or access to the service.
Access to Wikia
Wikia reserves the right to refuse access to Wikia, or to refuse the creation of a Wikia, to any user, for any reason.
Wikia, or any individual wiki, may be discontinued at any time and without any liability to any user.
Any Wikia may be closed, either to editing or viewing at any time and without notice.
Advertising
Any Wikia may host advertisements, promotions, and/or a sponsored search box. Only official Wikia advertisements may be shown. No user shall add advertising that has not been approved by the owner of Wikia. No user shall remove the advertising, or sponsored search features from the wiki in a way which means other users can not view these.
Wikia takes no responsibility for the content of externally provided advertising.
The content of advertisements may be protected by copyrights, or other proprietary rights and laws, and should not be assumed to be available under the terms of the GFDL.
Wikia will never host pop-up adverts.
Collection of personal information
User information is stored on servers in the United States. The only information that you need give is a username and password. The username does not need to be your real name. Therefore, any personal information you choose to give is not compulsory. No personal information should be given on the wiki by persons aged less than 13 years.
All details submitted in your Wikia request may be made public. The email address you provide in your request will be publicly viewable on the information page about your wiki's mailing list. You may change this email after your request in your user preferences.
If you choose to enter a real name in your preferences, this will be publicly available. However, this field is optional, and there is no requirement for any user to give a real name. Users under 13 should not give their real name.
Information from our server logs may be stored and used to gather aggregate data about users, and used to determine whether the identity of one or more users is the same in cases of abuse. This data includes your IP address, and details about your browser.
The collection of cookies is needed to log in to Wikia. If you do not make a Wikia account, there is no necessity to accept cookie requests from this site.
Edits by users who are not logged in will show the user's IP address in the page history of the article they edited, and also in other places on the site, including watchlists and recent changes, and in any external feeds made of such pages.
Changes to wikis
Wikia reserves the right to close, move, merge, or rename, a wiki for any reason. Wikia shall not be held liable for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of any Wikia, or of the service as a whole.

The name Wikia and the Wikia logo are trademarks of Wikia.
All content on the site is available under the terms of the GFDL. All copyrights remain with their original holder, and Wikia holds no copyright other than those of its own trademarks, and the edits submitted by Wikia' staff.
Legal action
You agree to indemnify Wikia, its owners, employees, and users from any liability relating to your use of this site, or its content.
All legal action will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Florida, US.
