Religion-wiki is a community enterprise, and at some point you are goint to want to talk to someone. The discussion pages are there for just that. Here are some guidelines for the use of these pages:
- Use the talk pages a lot: don't be shy: this is not a silent community!
- Use a colons (:) at the beginning of a paragraph if you want to indent your comment, so that it is not confused with someone elses.
- Sign and date your comments by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of the post.
- Be peaceful at heart and in voice. Do not be rude, or use vulgar or hateful language. Always give the other the benefit of the doubt: they might not have acted out of the motives you may think they have.
- Make your comment on the most relevant page. Use Forum to speak to the community at large; use user-talk pages to speak to individual members; use the discussion tab at the top of page to write comments about that page.
- Keep the thread together. Try not to respond to a comment made on one page on another page.
- Talk to someone!
