Religion-wiki has a number of Administrators (also sometimes called Sysops.Sysop stands for System Operator). They do not run Religion-wiki, as it is run by its members and hosted and operated by Wikia. Administrators are members who have been given access to a number of features that are not accessible to the average member. An administrator can:

• Rollback a page — this allows an administrator to revert a page to a previous version quickly; this is designed to deal with a vandalised page.
• Delete a page — other members can blank a page (remove its contents — not recommended), but an administrator can delete it.
• Protect a page — this makes it impossible for anyone to edit until it is unprotected.
• Block users — this allows an administrator to remove any user's editing rights for a fixed time limit.
• Alter the look of the site — administrators can access some of the software features involved in the look and interface of Religion-wiki.

Administrators should always use their access responsibly, following previously agreed policies and the consent of all members. Administrators are chosen because they are felt to be responsible members of the Religion-wiki community. A list of current administrators can be seen at Special:Listadmins. Please contact an administrator if you would like them to perform a task requiring administrator's access, or if you feel that you would make a good administrator.
