Quadrilism is an atheist religion that is represented through four omnipresent elements. The elements are Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. These four elements are represented as miniature divinities. Each element has its own properties that are polarized to all the other three elements.

[edit] Basic Theology

  • The four elements are equally distributed throughout the Earth.
  • Disturbance in this distribution results in reactions and produce new substances or alter already-existing ones.
  • Overreaction results in natural disasters (tornados, tsunamis, volcanic eruption, earthquakes, etc…)
  • Instances of disturbances include but are not limited to cooking food, splashing water, or moving crustal plates.

[edit] Month Alignment

Each element is represented by a month of the year. Air is represented by the month of March. Water is represented by the month of December. Fire is represented by the month of June. Earth is represented by the month of September. You may have noticed that each of these months contains the start of a new season. That is because each element is marked by a season.

For instance, Summer is when Fire concentration is at its greatest—any one born in the Summer months will have the properties of Fire strongest in them. On the contrary, Winter is when Water concentration is at its greatest—you will have completely opposite properties of Fire.

The elements’ properties and their polarization is best represented by the following quadrilateral:

With the assumption all elements are of equal concentration and distribution, (which are the main ethics of Quadrilism) those traits are likely to show between persons with that associated element.

Elements can be one of two types; dominant or recessive. Similar to sexual reproduction, dominant traits are more likely to show up in persons. Fire and Water’s traits are both dominant. Out of the three traits on the Element Quadrilateral, two of them will be Fire or Water. Earth and Air are both recessive; only one of their traits will show up. If you’re month is closer to one month than the other, you are likely to have those traits instead of the other.
