[1] The Navarre Bible's English translation uses the Revised Standard Version (RSV) published with ecclesiastical approval. In addition to English, Latin side-by-side and a most impressive notes and commentary section for each translation. This helps to explain the doctrinal and practical meaning of the scriptural text.
