Martin Smith is a Canadian Christian involved in music and radio ministry in Canada.

Martin Smith is the President of GMA Canada and Senior Vice President of Sales at David C. Cook Distribution Canada. The division was formerly called CMC Distribution.


Media Service

Martin Smith has been involved in the Christian music industry for over 20 years, having hosted a Christian music program for 15 years in Red Deer, Alberta (on CKRD --- now called Big 105). He worked for 5 years at Gospel Books 'n Music (now called Scott's Parable) before joining CMC Distribution in 1990.

He has been a member of the GMA Canada board for 5 years and became President in the fall of 2006. He has been the executive producer of several Canadian music compilations, mostly notably the annual "Sea To Sea" compilations (featuring Canadian worship songs), along with the annual GMA Canada Covenant Award compilations, Merge, Launch, Promise Keepers Canada, World Vision's Girls Night Out and more.
