Kreiderheiminism
Religion-wiki — for all religions and none
Glossary:
Kreider: The God of the campus. Through the years since 1866, there have been 17 separate Kreiders; however as each moved on, their powers were transferred to the next in line. The house of Kreider is called Kreiderheim, and this is where each generation of Kreider has resided and continues to do so to this day. When not in his home, Kreider ventures out into the campus and those lucky enough to catch a glimpse are forever blessed by his sight. (Pictures of the past Kreiders can be viewed here):
http://www.lvc.edu/l-online/presidents.aspx?bhjs=0
- Picture of the current Kreider can be found here: http://www.lvc.edu/admission/president-welcome.aspx?bhjs=0
L, V, C: Three icons/saints created to help with the building of the campus, to tell the teachings of Kreider, and to see that all came to be the way Kreider had first envisioned. However, in the following years after the foudation of the religion they were punished for their minimilist ideas.
Council of Elders: The vangaurd faculty and administration of the campus; those who maintain tradition.
The rails: The holy pathway through which Kreider traveled, and then he seperated the land. Now the rails continue to be a sacred symbol to Kreiderheiminism.
Dutchmen Day: Judgement Day
Chicken Tender Thursday: Weekly reward for not playing with your food, in which eating chicken fingers, mac and cheese, and fries are strongly encouraged to be eaten because according to the council the original Kreider consumed this dish on his first night at the valley. On that one holy day (Thursday),students may use their fingers to eat and NOT be punished.
In addition, a majority of followers of Kreider argue that when eating on Thursdays only chicken fingers should be on the minds of the students for Kreider received nutrition from chicken, and so should you.
*To be remembered: The meals that are posted each day are important, and everyone should eat from the approved menu Kreider decides. It is highly encouraged that the students do not go off campus too much for wasting money is a sin to both one's diet and knowledge. Moreover, leaving campus takes tuition from Kreider, which later down the line has an adverse affect on the student's fun activities and Kreider sees this as slacking in one's studies.
Crusades: Epic activist battles fought each year by several teams against those who oppose Kreider.
- To be noted- Some Scholars see the Crusades as a legitimation of Kreiderheiminism, insofar as if you are against the order of the religion you are seen as evil. In addition, some scholars would argue that the Crusades against other religions like Albrightism is inflamatory and demeaning, and causes disorder in the cosmic structure. However, those who believe in Kreider argue that there has always been anger between both religions because in the end people who do not trust in Kreider's truth are doomed to failure in everything they do.
- To be noted- Some would argue this is an event where people are not possessed and are just letting out steam. In addition,by calling it a ritual this event then becomes sensible.
- Perhaps not all that come intend to feel the energy of their elders; however, all those who attend are possessed during the ritual. After they wake up the next morning, the students become more focused on completing their studies.
Valleyfest: Traditional celebration in which all students come together and take part in many different festivities in hopes that it will bring them closer to Kreider's teachings.
Graduation: The final send off signifying that you've completed your time here at L.V.C., whether that be 4 years or 6 years. All students are congratulated for their hard work and dedication to Kreider. This is the final confirmation.
Songs, hyms, quotes, stories: Used for the praising of Kreider, reminders of tradition and faith.
The Dutchmen: A forever sacred, and changing symbol of battle for Kreider. It represents the people who choose to follow Kreider and his teachings.
Hotdog Frank: An epic warrior who fought loyally for the teaching of Kreider and successfully completed the journey.
Finals Week: Repentence
- To be noted- Some scholars would look at the rituals as being needed to be played out (a locus to propogate belief), for it increases the base of Kreiderheiminism. Everyone and everything in Kreiderheiminism has objectivity, for that is what holds the religion's cosmic structure in order.
- However, some scholars would cynically look at these rituals and state that anything concerning the "Kreider" is a made up piece that is added to give the stories meaning, and is just a person who is given authority from the council of elders, who use scripture and myths to give them secret authority. This is not true, for a higher power had to create the rivers, valleys, structures, and teachings that makes Kreiderheiminism, and that is Kreider. Humans are limited in our knowledge of the world, in which only Kreider has the answers that the students seek out. Just because the Kreider can be seen at times, that does not mean that he is not supernatural, for stranger things have occurred.
- To be noted- Some scholars would look at the rituals (and religion in whole) as maximilist, where to make it through the year one must devote nearly all aspects to studying and seeking repentence. Some schoars feel that religion should focus only on certain times of the year, which some feel Kreiderheiminism does not. On the other hand, those who believe in Kreider argue that studying and giving their lives over is the only way to seek Kreider's truth. In additon, to succeed in life and beyond, one must allow the rituals to envelope their lives.
- To be noted- Some scholars would theorize that Kreiderheiminism's rituals are models of other old rituals and beliefs that can later be used for new rituals. At the same time, the aspects of Kreiderheiminism can be seen as a model for re-creating patterns (a blue print) for symbols like the Dutchman. In addition, some other scholars would argue Kreiderheiminism's historical and cultural context makes up these rituals. However, if we go by this argument, then everything else cannot be talked about because only religion equals historical and contextual specific aspects, thus the argument is false.
Definition of Kreiderheiminism
-A view about the transformation of a student to a higher level of socio-economic status. A journey in which one accomplishes Kreider's teachings while expanding one's wisdom. Libertas Per Veritatem
- To be noted- Some scholars will see Kreiderheiminism as a single unified moral community where the Church becomes the institution of LVC. In addition, our religion is important because it allows us to talk openly, and flexibly in the community about our ideals.
- To be noted- Some scholars would argue that saying everything here is the religion, in which religion should be only a rule of thumb (problemitizing), and is not flexible as stated. Yes, Kreiderheiminism has changed through time like the symbol of the Dutchmen and Moravian Star, but it still marks our religion different from others, and just like any religion everything involved in it might seem overwhelming.
- To be noted- Some scholars argue Kreiderheiminism is a macro-entity that is based on other religious sects that have become interwoven. Perhaps it is true that some of our rituals are similar to Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, ect. Although many religions share a family resemblance about community, structure, and ideas, Kreiderheiminism is unique to this area and its rich history makes it different from any other religion.
Kreider Kreed:
-Never root for Albrightism, for they have false ways.
-When the train passes, pay honor by stopping and bowing.
-Learn the teachings, fight your inner demons, and then pass the teachings on from coast to coast.
-Never neglect your studies, for if one does, it will lead to a weak mind and body. In addition, never cheat on your studies for if caught, it may lead to one's expulsion from Kreiderheiminism.
-Show kindess to those who are of your religion, or not (including Albrightism, for they are human as well).
-Show hospitality to the community.
-Keep an open mind.
-Speak quietly in the library, for it will affect others' teachings.
-You shall only park in your designated area, for punishment could be received.
-Attend all teachings of Kreider.
-Do not play with your food, for they are for your body and mind.
- To be noted- Some scholars theorize Kreider's Kreed as externalizations to make our human projections true, only to ligitimate them as real in scripture and doctrine.
Stories: Some believe that the presence of L, V, and C is still on campus. Some believe that the saints reside in the statue of the mother goddess located near the library, representing knowledge and Kreider's teachings. Some other believers feel that they hid in the reeds of a pond on the other side of the campus, and in recent years were forced out when the the religion's elders wanted a new look to the area. Thus, they lost their homes and were blessed with a ritual in their honor, and they were forced to leave so havoc would not follow the students. Afterwards, the youngest Kreider prohibited any damages to structures on the campus. Students who caused destruction to the premises would face punishment from Kreider's guards.
How to Get Into the Religion: To get into Kreiderheiminism you must be diligent in your mind and body before coming here. You must be willing to go through a process in which the council of elders will test your skills through interviews, for Kreider only demands the best and brightest to be taught. It is up to the students to tell Kreider's words down the line, but should also tell people that if they are willing to go through the liminal process, then they can also celebrate the rituals from the UG to the crusades, etc..., leaving as an enlightened individual. Steps of how to get in:
1.) At age sixteen or so, ask a council of elder member (or go onto the campus' website) to inquire about Kreider's truth. http://www.lvc.edu/index.aspx?bhcp=1
2.) Visit, one should come with an open heart and mind.
3.) Apply, one must be willing to be interviewed and write about your past accomplishments. Kreider looks for diligent, hard working, intelligent, respectful people who are willing to devote themselves to an enlightened state.
4.) If accepted (which at most 1,700 students per year attend the campus) you must go through initiation promises in a convocation ceremony at the end of August. You enter a liminal state of leaving the world behind and entering Kreider's truth, where one swears allegiance before Kreider for 4-6 years. If a student breaks this or wishes to leave, that is their choosing, though it may lead to consequences in occupation standing down the line.
5.) Learn, study, and find out more about the world around you.
Symbols
LVC banners: This represents the saints L, V, and C who were by the side of the first Kreider. L, V, and C were believed to have been destroyed in the recent past. However, L, V, and C were not happy that the first Kreider left, and they wanted a minimilist approach to the religion where not all aspects of life centered around the religion. Then, because the second Kreider disagreed with this, L, V, and C decided to create chaos among the students. L, V, and C were forced onto the other side by the second Kreider, and at the same time Kreider created classes to control any uprises L, V, and C created among the students. The ones most pious stayed, others left.
The bridges: Shows the crossings and long paths that the students take when at the campus.
The Flying Dutchman: A model made by the local people embellished throughout history.
Hotdog Frank: A saint and martyr remembered (a statue of him is found in the Peace garden) for saving the faith at a basketball crusade, in which in 1994 he died just as the buzzer went off (between a tied game in Buffalo, NY). His soul pushed the ball into the rim, showing how Kreider works in strange ways. Originally, Frank was from Greece, and he came to the area after he heard a message from Kreider to come and help the students with nourishment. He was a kind soul who made it his life to protect Kreider's truth.
Grades: Symbols to motivate students by gauging their progress throughout their journey to graduation or confirmation.
Liscence Plates/ Stickers: Usually show the Humanities building (seat of most academic sources) where the Kreiders built to make a place closer to the students, yet still they are rarely seen. Many different stickers and liscense plates show the outline of the Humanities Building, which informs others of Kreiderheiminism's proud faith.
- To be noted- Some scholars would argue that these abstract ideas have been objectified by the council, which takes abstract ideas and concretes them in Kreider's sacred symbols. By calling them "sacred", this takes them above a normal (profane) state. To be sacred, the banners must be blue, red, and white, having Kreider's motto. In addition, the briges must be crossed fully to be called a holy journey, and the grades must be approved by the council. As for stickers, to get these sacred symbols, one must get them from the campus, and at the same time we are the only home of the flying dutchmen. Lastly, in the case of Hotdog Frank, he is sacred because of the way he helped Kreider's crusdasers win, though some other scholars would argue that by making him into a statue, the followers of kreider give him more power then when he was alive.
Thus, the statue of Hotdog Frank is just a way to celebrate our past glories, not a way to give our past elders a psychological advantage over anyone else.
Crusades Go Dutchmen
There are many crusades that occur on and off campus in which popular games like football and basketball are played to extend Kreider's teachings and might. When they lose, the campus rallies around the activist players, encouraging them to work harder next time. Those that succeed are given the honor of witnessing the Kreider's residence.
- It should be mentioned that the current Kreider will greet the families of the students, which leads to great applause and cheers, bolstering the will to succeed at LVC.
- To be noted- Some scholars would argue that the crusades breed realms of peace and war, where those who do not back Kreider are not always looked upon in the highest light. However, it should be also noted that the crusades are not meant to put down the other side, but give ways to show one another's strengths.
Holidays
1.) Convocation Ceremony: Welcomes the new students every August who get to see the Kreider and hear his words. At the Miller Chapel they promise to uphold his words, they leave a liminal state to become freshmen.
2.) Homecoming: In October, Graduates and current students alike come to see a crusade, and partake in festivities that please the Kreider. In many cases, Kreider comes to watch the crusade. On this day, it is especially hoped that the non-graduates (the ones who did not meet their studies, cheated in their studies, and do not receive Kreider's recognition, forever remaining in a liminal state) warn the new students. When here, many tell of life on the outside, showing pictures of their good days on the campus. In some cases certain students listen to the non-graduate's tales of how if they do not try their hardest in their studies they may not be able to move on from their pasts, may lose the backing of Kreider, and may not be judged in the best light when planning for their futures. In addition, some of the non-graduates talk of possibly coming back to try and re-hear Kreider's words, but tell the students to remain diligent for them, and not make the same mistakes that they did. These people ask the students to tell other students their tales, and how Kreider's truth is not to be messed with, for consequences can occur.
3.) Class sign-ups: In November and April, students pray to Kreider for help in signing up for the classes they need, in which the elder students receive quicker picks of classes compared to freshmen. This causes freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to strive to become seniors so they can graduate Kreiderheiminism and intelligently pass on the word.
4.) Candles in the Chapel: Each December in the waning hours of the sun, students emerge lighting candles recognizing the hard work they performed that semester, and sing hymns that celebrate Kreider. In addition, a Moravian Star which is a star with 26 points is illuminated throughout Miller Chapel, representing the Pennslyvania Dutch. It is a symbol that has applied to Kreider throughout the century, representing the illumination of his teachings even in the darkest of nights.
- To be noted- Some scholars look at this as a changing ritual that makes up Kreiderheiminism, and others see it as historical context that backs Kreider's existence. In addition, some scholars would argue that the hiolidays are minimilist ways the council has taken back Kreiderheiminism from being too maximalist.
5.) Breaks: 5 Breaks allow the students to tell their families far and near of Kreider, communicating his truth. In addition, at the end of every Spring semester in the month of May, they enter a liminal state that takes them off campus and puts them in a study-free mode until August. Then, they return a semester older to continue their journey to graduation.

7.) Graduation: See throughout page.

[edit] Crossings (Book One)
In the days of long past, Kreider came down two steel rails that stretched as far East as the eyes could see, and stopped at a small station landing that sat along the rails. He looked around and decided to show his power, wisdom, and might, by creating something with thought and some waves of his hands.
He smiled and cleared the path of the local stream that crossed nearby and extended the rails far into the West. Then, he saw everything was flat and separated so he decided to make it more elegant. With that, the land was split in two.
Kreider felt that the land was not pure enough and decided to bring a congregation together by combining rock, sand, and dust together by molding it in his hand. Then, he blew it out from his palm, and it started to take the shape of a four storied brick, glass, and tin structure. Thus he said to himself, “This is a dorm where my congregation shall dwell.”
However, Kreider deemed that there would be more people to come down the line so he decided that he needed assistance in finishing his desires. With that, he found three large boulders near the dorm and clapped his hands to create three beings to assist him, calling them L, V, and C. L, was created to help with the building of the campus, V was created to tell the teachings of Kreider, and C was meant to see that all went to plan.
After more brick, steel, and metallic structures rose from the Earth as Kreider wished them to be, he smiled and decided to cross to the other side. With every step, he walked up the stairs and then crossed a bridge that suddenly appeared. He continued to walk until he built another bridge and continued on. On a hill covered in corn he clapped his hands and started to raise a beautiful mansion that stood out from all the rest in the entire region. Thus, he said to himself with a smile, “Let this be known as Kreiderheim, where all the basis of my teachings shall be raised and the truth of enlightenment shall be sought. Though, they must be true of heart and willing to give all to visit this coveted hall.”
L, V, and C all appeared as Kreider turned around from the doorway and asked them, “What has become of my campus and congregates.”
L told him thus, “Many have heard of your teachings humble sire, they come seeking the truth.”
“Fair enough and thank you my children,” Kreider stated.
Kreider came to them and they bowed in his greatness, and he told them that they would be his governing, elite counsel that would spread the word of Kreider. With that, he appointed them the shining beacons in which the congregates shall follow.
Then as he was about to turn back, he looked around and said, “In the decades to follow thousands shall stay here for four years where they will receive the teachings in the library and learn the fruits of my labor. Then, they will travel down the distant tracks where they will continue to preach my word. They will have successful occupations that will guide them some day back to Kreider, and bolster the truth among the world's masses.”
And so it was done.
After decades, Kreider grew weary and decided that a new Kreider would take on the role, in which “tuitions” to fund the good word would be paid to the new Kreider, also known as the President.
As Kreider left for the rails, he handed over the campus to his elite followers who would take care of it properly. Kreider requested that the elders adapt the campus to the needs and desires of each generation, to always keep their will, and to remember - “The truth shall set you free.”
- To be noted- Some scholars would theorize that humans created order for themselves and then hid the fact that they created this order (symmetrical dualism). People made this order, or religion, credible by putting it in the mouth of a higher authority. In the simplest form, the scholars theorize that we create our own realities in order to make sense of the world. In reference to Kreiderheiminism, scholars will see Kreider as the disposition of history that represents the creation of the religion. They would theorize that the students who follow L,V, and C of Kreiderheimenism create their own order by scheduling their classes each semester. In addition, some scholars would argue that it was actually humans in the 1800s that designed the campus and not a being named Kreider. However, we debate this because of the intricate ideas and symbols left by the Kreiders. Not to mention, Kreider does show up once in a while to certain rituals and events like the crusades, which shows a higher power resides over us all.
- To be noted- Some scholars would theorize that the agent Kreider creation of the campus as linked with a verbal root structure. In "doing" all that the agent Kreider did, it becomes similar to the transitive verb of "rain", where this proves Kreider's powers exist.

[edit] The Social Interactions of Dutchman Day (Book Two)
Dutchman Day is set forth on the basis of Judgment, for all good students of the truth shall take on the ritual in full aspect of forgiving their sins. The Kreiders who set this day in shrouded secrecy among the council of elders created it for all to take pause, for minutes wasted lead to idleness and doom for the enlightenment of graduation.
This anticipated day crosses along the path of Kreider’s arrival to the land; however, no date specifically in the fourth month (as of 2001) was ever decided when Kreider brought the truth. What is decided though is the fact that when the ritual possesses everyone, classes following the rise of the sun are canceled and the students are brought together.
Dutchmen Day (named for the German past that the original Kreider is believed to have hailed from), follows along the border of fantasy and reality, in which the normal order of the average day is interrupted.
As the sun rises around the six o’clock hour, the first students who have not slept the best the eve before and those who socially celebrate the same eve, are inherently possessed first on the day of righteous judgment.
When it comes to the other students who have not risen to the ritual yet, the sub-committee of elders, who go by the title "event arrangers," run through all the good dorms Kreider built. To accomplish this feat, they romp through the halls yelling, beating drums, banging on doors, blowing screeching whistles, and using blow horns. When the weary and surprised students awake from their warm beds in deep slumber, they enter a liminal state in which they become zombie-like, moving in odd masses down the path to await orders from the event arrangers. The students have now left the normal experience of the campus, in which waiting becomes the next step. In this in-between state the students talk to each other about the events ahead, their complaints about the line, and the exams that they are missing.
After they reach the tables of truth where the arrangers are, they are handed a new t-shirt where they enter another liminal state of placing the shirt on to mark that they can engage in the activities. After the shirt is on, they leave the liminal state and are in the mind set of the day ahead, for they are forgiven of their sins. Those who do not get there in time may not receive a t-shirt and may be stuck in that liminal state until the next day. Some students pout in their rooms, others try to fit in, while most are looked down upon during the day.
Some of the biggest parts to this ritual include the following:
•Face painting and crafting allows the energy in the atmosphere to enter, in which they become one step closer to the truth.
•Moon bounces allow students to reach high to the sky and some have even said that they have bounced so high that they can see past the horizon where Kreider came from, giving them more hope for the final days. During these moonbounce festivals, the lines the students await involve another liminal state where they leave the normal parts of the festival for the interactions of the moonbounce. After the moonbounce, they leave changed, ready to finish the year by returning to the normal festivites.
•Food and drinks, like smoothies, allow students to think about their actions over the past year. Kreider wished food to equal brainpower, for brainpower allows the truth to set in faster.
•In addition, students come together in droves to eat dinner outside among the others and enjoy Kreider’s creations, for the ritual of community allows others to discuss the truth and give hope for graduation.
•Then, as the sun angle lessens and the shadows stretch and creep, music, dancing, and louder festivities encourage the crowd to shake off any last past sins and finish the prossession. However, those who do not participate in the judgment or do not prepare for this time will remain possessed for an indefinite time, in which one may be forced to repent through heavy reading and studying of Kreider’s words so the possession will weaken.
•As twilight begins around the eight o’clock hour, the festivities continue through the early evening, in which the students then return to their dorms for bed and preparation for the next day of study.
All that is left is memories and hopes for a brighter future.- To be noted- Some scholars have looked at this activity as reductionistic, suggesting that one who is trying to make it through all of these activities is pushed closer to graduation. These scholars would argue that this was created over time as a way to get away from the time of studying, defeating the religion's original purpose. Religionists see that only those who practice the faith can talk about this ritual, let alone Kreiderheiminism. However, both are being reductionistic because the day and religion can be talked about by other people outside of Kreider's word. Participation in the festivites is meant to bring one closer to getting ready to move on from the campus by bringing both judgment and fun experiences for people to learn from interaction.
- To be noted- Some scholars would see Dutchmen Day as a way for the students to build up the meaning of Kreiderheiminism. This is correct because it is the students and not just the council that keep the religion alive. Without the students Kreiderheiminism would cease to exist.
[edit] Kreider’s Day of Fun, Valleyfest (Book Three)
After the original Kreider left the rails, the new Kreiders down the century looked upon their beautiful creations, in which they noticed how a lack of fun draped the people. With that, he pondered and paced back and forth at Kreider Hill, the same beautiful hill covered in green lawns and reaching corn, where the first Kreider once splendidly devised.
Then, he sat down in a tall blue chair decorated in mahogany (now found in the Miller Chapel), and after three days he stood up like a bolt of lightning. He stated, “Every year, I shall make a rewarding festival for my believers, one that does not come cloaked in surprise, as the Dutchmen Day, but rather is planned so that believers can look forward to preparations for the coming of the final scripts and their just rewards.”
And so he clapped his hands, wrote it into the charter, and thought of a weekend in the end of April. It was done, and done to his likeness.
He decided to call it Valleyfest, in the honor of the valley he built the campus on, and to the original honor of V, who is remembered in rocks, found around the campus. After this, the council of elders received word from Kreider to make days in the change of the season to hold this ritual.
The people of the covenant would know that Valleyfest is upon them in a few ways. One, as spring arrives on the twentieth of March, the days grows longer and warmer, and as April arrives, the communication of the celebration increase.
As April arrives, birds start to sing with beautiful music, and as the week arrives the smiles and cheers of the followers rise as high as the sun stays high in the April sky. The council decided to create a weekend of loud festivities, feasts, music, dancing, and games.
Honor this day as long as there is light and earth. Refrain for the three days of work and study duty, and enjoy the free blessings from your gracious father.
"Beloved children; behold gifts from God". -Kreider
- To be noted- On the day of Valleyfest, there is usually a dunk tank as part of the many activities taking place. Some scholars might say that this particular event is only created because of sexual desire, since people have to be in bathing suits when being dunked, and the people attending the activity might be participating only to observe these people in less clothing. However, this by looking at this ritual this way, the argument becomes reductionist because it is only psychology at its best.
[edit] Finals and Graduation (Book Four)
It is believed that a little over a century-and-a-half ago the original followers of Kreider started to become disheartened and lost the true meaning of their religion. Worldly vices of all types became their only cares in the lives, and chaos from L, V, and C's rebelious uprise questioned the world Kreider set forth. It was then that the second Kreider decided to meet the first Kreider’s words of expanding an education in his teachings and the world around. He believed the grades would work as symbols that would motivate students to strive for the best, to live better lives and move onward.
The second Kreider proclaimed that all followers must take at least four years of classes about the religion and the creation of the world they know, and all the teachings from far beyond that they could find. In addition, the courses of one to three credits each marked how devoted to your religion you were, in which the average of five to six courses were deemed acceptable. The second Kreider knew that by making these courses, it would keep his followers devoted, and their courses would show the sacrifice they would have to make in order to get closer to perfection.
It was decided in May of every year that finals would begin to show the true test of their knowledge and sacrifice, in which it would become the final attempt to cleanse their souls and focus on reviving the teachings of the prophets beforehand. In the faith of Kreiderheimenism, another important day is celebrated -- graduation. Graduation is meant for those who have met their four years of toil, and are no longer held to the classes of the campus, and are able to leave the campus and move on, someday finding perfection after they continue to do good deeds and spread the word of Kreider. However, those who wish to change their faith after graduation are allowed to if they do not feel devoted anymore, it is just hoped they take their teachings and quietly use them to battle their inner demons and live happy lives.
On this day, the truly devoted come dressed in long robes, happy, smiling, and crying tears of joy. The students are applauded and cheered on this great day of spirituality, for the whole world is open for them to either follow the rails of Kreider, or move away from the teachings. Only the truth comes to those who seek it, but truth comes in many ways.
- To be noted- Some scholars will see the ceremony of Graduation as a culmination of A Posteriori as the truths of the religion are dependent on the conditioned experience of all four years of religious studies at LVC.
- To be noted- Some followers of Kreider would argue that by leaving the religion, it leaves one open to failure in life because they have left Kreider. Some scholars would see this as a way for the maximilist sectors of the religion as trying to scare and divide the religion, which could cause a rift. By riding of the anomalous, non-believers through the L, V, C myth, some scholars would state that it was just a way for the Council to rid of interanl threats. On the other hand, many followers of Kreider argue that is false for Kreider respects all people, he just asks that anyone who does not believe in him respectfully keep their opinions to themselves.
The Final Song
"To Thee dear Alma Mater, this ringing song we raise A song that's fraught with gladness, a song that's filled with praise We cannot help but love Thee, our hearts are full and free Full well we know the debt we owe, to dear old L.V.C.
We come from old New Hampshire, where winter breezes blow And from the sunny Southland, where sweet magnolias grow We've sung "Star Spangled Banner," to "Dixie" given a cheer And now we raise this song of praise, to Alma Mater dear.
Ye sons of Lebanon Valley, put forth your strongest might And let our Alma Mater, win each and ev'ry fight Lift high its royal banner, and keep its honor clear And let our song with voices strong, ring down thro' many a year." http://www.lvc.edu/l-online/almamater.aspx?bhjs=-1
- To be noted- Some scholars would argue that by moving on and knowing where the students go allows future generations the stability to also have control of their potential end in the religion. Moving on is reality, and it does cause one's current time to be flipped upside down, though applying your path helps the graduates find peace.
OTHER SONGS and PRAYERS:
- Kreider, have mercy on us as we take on these final obstacles to show our faith in your truth. Give use to our minds and hands to do right in our final stretch. Kreider, save us all. (Finals week).
- Let us lift our voices and lift our hands! Kreider watches over this land. Show your courage, wisdom shines true, for no one can beat us because Kreider's words hold true! (Battle song).
- Dearest Kreider we know you, for our handbook tell us so.Give us freedom, power, truth, to guide us through all there is to do.
- To every voice, sing to Kreider. Every eye face to Kreider. Open your heart and your mind, seek the knowledge.
- Keep to your teachings, defeat your fears, spread the truth. That is the way. Know your power is above all, for Kreider is your beacon through the whole way.
- Only the true of the heart, seek the glory of the future. Bow your head, stand in place, Kreider comes in surprising ways.
- Always know, that Kreider is watching. Even in the darkest night, his light shall beacon.Only he knows the path, so give him your hearts, and your mind to take you where you want to go.
