Konagamana Buddha is one of the Buddha in the present kalpa.[clarification needed] He is the second of the Buddha.[1] In Burma (or Myanmar) Konagamana is called Konagon or Konagamanan. According to Burmese mythology, he was born on Wednesday,[2] because of this Konagamana is placed on the Wednesday pedestal.
