Khirapat is a sweet Prasad; an offering made generally in a Maharashtrian family to be offered to Lord Ganesha.

It is made out of grated coconut (dried), mixed with sugar, (ground sugar) and all dry fruits like cashew, badam, kismis, etc.

Children like it very much, it is easy and fast to make. The legend says that even Lord Ganesha likes it a lot.
