Jair (Hebrewיָאִ֖יר, enlightener) (fl. 2830 AM–2852 AM) (fl. 1174-1152 BC) was the ninth Judge of Israel. He was a Gadite and came from the land of Gilead. He had thirty sons, and each son controlled a city in Israel. (Judges 10:3-5 )
