According to the Book of Mormon, Heth was a Jaredite who lived in ancient America. He is notable in that he is a descendant of Jared, and an ancestor to the prophet Ether.[1]
Heth was the son of Com, the king of the Jaredite nation, and dethroned his father to take the throne himself[2] by turning to "secret plans"[3] (Secret combinations).
