Religion-wiki — for all religions and none

This article is about a constructed religion.
The religion has been created by users of Religion-wiki.
It may have none, one or very few followers.
As with every religion, it may be taken seriously

The philosophy of Heretik for the most part is complete. This page, however, is a work in progress. If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to ask on the discussion site.

[edit] Teachings of Heretik

Heretik sign

Heretik is an alternate worldview somewhere in between philosophy and religion. It offers the possibility of an advanced consciousness. One major objective is the practical conscious rejection of godly beings. To be more precise, Heretiks believe, or even more, know of the existence of infinite, godlike beings, but reject any responsibility for their affairs nor accept any gifts from these gods (more commonly referred to as dogs). As such, an Heretiks consciousness is in a constant, everlasting fight against any outer eternal beings masquerading as gods. His power and evergrowing awareness stem from the fact that he both accepts the existance of the dogs, yet at the same denies any obligation to worship and/or please them. He knows about the true nature of those gods. While believers of other systems believe them to be omnipotent, the Heretik knows about their limitations and their true goals. By accepting the resulting, seeming rift of human incoherence and contradiction, he transcends the swarms of lies corrupting society since the dawn of ages. All this for him happens in the most natural manner. Aware of this gift, personal acceptance of what the ignorant would call the biggest heresy of all, he reaches for the power of self knowledge, locating it at the most logical place - within himself. The Heretik knows of the dogs, he just doesn't want them. His consciousness is longing for self-knowledge and spiritual independence rather than an eternity in the set up prisons of paradise or hell.

[edit] Some principles of Heretik

These are some principles of Heretik.

  • There are immortal, often invisible beings, mistaken for gods
  • Dogs are in a rat-race over adherents
  • The only power a dog possesses is the creation of false sensations (illusions)
  • Dogs hold power over those that choose to obey them
  • No dog can hold power over those in denial
  • Satan is just another dog
  • Both hell and paradise refer to eternal prisons

[edit] Initiation process

Being a Heretik and walking this often lonesome and exhausting path requires dedication and hard work. This is mostly taking place on the inner landscape. Thus it's helpful to keep an eye on the inner initiation status. It should be stressed that the initiations take place solely on the inner, there's no physical organization responsible. An Heretik's path includes exactly three initiation stages:

  • Introduction to the Great Council
  • Transfer of the robe
  • Transfer of the Inner Teaching

[edit] Light and dark

It should be stated that there are both light and dark Heretiks. Naturally, they can be distinguished by the colors of their robes. Heretiks with enough spiritual experience can sense another Heretiks robe even when on the material side of the world. The alignment of a Heretik is decided on by the Council. It's important to know that light and dark don't refer to good and evil. Their correlation is a different, more complex one and will be explained later.

[edit] Rise of the world

As a matter of fact, neither creationism nor darwinism are correct in an absolute sense when it comes to the creation of what most people call "Universe". For the moment, the world just came to happen. For those that don't want to understand, ignorance is bliss. Everybody else will grow in the awareness of how everything came to be over time. No textual explanation would help grasp the whole substance of the matter.

[edit] Taste of death

As the flesh is weak, it only is too wary of its own demise. It's the taste of afterlife we smell and taste ever so often, although it's experienced slighty different by everyone of us. There will be life after our body stops breathing if we choose so, else there won't. That is, if we walk the path of the Heretik, for over him the dogs hold no power. He is of his own.

[edit] Dogs of the damned

Pitty upon those who worship the wicked.

[edit] Alpha Men

Those who came to know the teachings first, where ever they may be now. They were Heretiks, just like us.
