| ਸਾਕਤ ਕਉ ਦਿਨ ਰੈਨਿ ਅੰਧਾਰੀ ਮੋਹਿ ਫਾਥੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਜਾਲ ॥ ਖਿਨੁ ਪਲੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਨ ਵਸਿਓ ਰਿਨਿ ਬਾਧੇ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਬਾਲ ॥੨॥ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਮਤਿ ਬੁਧਿ ਪਾਈ ਹਉ ਛੂਟੇ ਮਮਤਾ ਜਾਲ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਮੀਠ ਲਗਾਨਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਏ ਸਬਦਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੩॥ |
| Sākaṯ kao ḏin rain anḏẖārī mohi fāthė māiā jāl. Kẖin pal har parabẖ riḏai na vasio rin bāḏẖė baho biḏẖ bāl.(2) Saṯsangaṯ mil maṯ buḏẖ pāī hao cẖẖūtė mamṯā jāl. Har nāmā har mīṯẖ lagānā gur kīė sabaḏ nihāl.(3) |
| Dark are the days and nights of the faithless cynics; they are caught in the trap of attachment to Maya. The Lord God does not dwell in their hearts, even for an instant; every hair of their heads is totally tied up in debts.(2) |
