The flag and national anthem of the Republic of the Congo.
The Republic of the Congo (French: République du Congo; Kongo: Repubilika ya Kongo; Lingala: Republiki ya Kongó), also known as Congo-Brazzaville or the Congo, is a country in Central Africa. It is bordered by Gabon, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Angolan exclave province of Cabinda, and the Gulf of Guinea.
Religion in the Republic of the Congo[]
The Republic of the Congo is a Christian majority country, Roman Catholicism is the most popular Christian denomination, followed by 50.5% of the population, 40.2% of the population are Protestants. Islam is the religion of 1.3% of the country's inhabitants and the Baha'i Faith is followed by of 0.4% of the population. Less than 0.1% of the people of the Republic of the Congo are Buddhists.
