Edward Malcolm is the Presiding Bishop of the Church of England (Continuing), an independent Anglican church body in the evangelical or low church tradition, founded in February 1994. Malcolm was previously a missionary priest of the Church of England. He was consecrated as an assistant bishop on 13 September 1998 by the then Presiding Bishop, David Norman Samuel. On 27 May 2001 he succeeded Dr Samuel as the second Presiding Bishop of the Church of England (Continuing).
