De delictis gravioribus (Latin for "on the most serious crimes") was a letter written on 18 May 2001 by then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, to "all Patriarchs, Archbishops, Bishops and other Local Ordinaries, including those of Eastern Rite".
It covers "more grave delicts both against morals and in the celebration of the sacraments", essentially certain sacrilegious acts and adultery, particularly with minors.
