Daniel Block is an Old Testament scholar and is Gunther H. Knoedler Professor of Old Testament at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. He previously taught at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary as the John R. Sampey Professor of Old Testament Interpretation. Block has a DPhil (1982) from Liverpool University [1] and an MA (1973) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Block's two-volume commentary on the Book of Ezekiel is a standard in Old Testament scholarship.
