The Church of the Holy Wisdom was a Christian church built on the Jewish Temple Mount in Jerusalem in around 325 CE.

In 325 CE Constantine's mother, St. Helena built a small church on the mount where the Jewish Second Temple of Herod stood a few centuries before, until the Romans destroyed it in 70 CE following a Jewish rebellion. Like Jews, Christians also consider the Temple Mount to be holy as they also believe it was where Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac to God and Jesus, the founder of Christianity, worshiped in the Temple of Herod on the mount.

Little else is known about the church but it was later destroyed and on its ruins and the ruins of the destroyed Jewish Temple, the Dome of the Rock was built when Muslim armies conquered Jerusalem in 691 CE.
