A Christian is an individual who belongs to the religion of Christianity, believing in the Abrahamic God and that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, seperating the individual from a follower of Judaism. It is not uncommon for a Christian to refer to themselves by their ideology/religious sub-culture (e.g., Roman Catholic, Protestant, Anglican etc.), often causing some confusion regarding the requirements one must adhere to to be classified as a Christian.
