There is an assumption on the part of many religious traditions that to pick and choose which elements of those traditions or even to combine them with elements of other traditions is extremely problematic and demonstrates a lack of commitment and even a weak mind.  I strongly disagree.  I contend that borrowing the best from various religious traditions and combining them into a new, syncretistic religious framework would find many adherents.  And so, this religion hopes to begin that new tradition.
