Beth Israel Synagogue (Hebrew: בית ישראל‎) is a Conservative synagogue located at 229 Murdock Avenue in Asheville, North Carolina.[2] Originally Orthodox, it was formed in 1899 as Bikur Cholim, and changed its name to Beth Israel when it affiliated with the Conservative movement in 1951.[3]

As of 2009, the rabbi is Robert Cabelli.[1]
