Beth Israel Congregation is a Conservative synagogue located at 385 Pottstown Pike (Route 100) in Upper Uwchlan Township, Pennsylvania.[1] Founded in 1904 by Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe as Kesher Israel, it was formally chartered as "Beth Israel" by the Chester County Court of Common Pleas in 1916.[2]
As of 2010[update], the rabbi is Michael Charney.[1]
