- 433: Formula of Reunion: Acacius, bishop of Beroea, settles a dispute between the patriarchs John of Antioch and Cyril of Alexandria. Cyril claimed that John remained Nestorian in outlook, while John claimed that Cyril held to the Apollinarian heresy.
