Anti-abortion terrorism consists of violent or otherwise threatening actions taken by pro-life activists against abortion clinics and those who work at them. These actions commonly take the form of vandalism, death threats or other intimidation, but multiple cases of arson, bomb attacks and murder have occurred. Although most frequently seen in the US, anti-abortion terrorism has been known to occur in Canada and Australia.
The majority of pro-life organizations who have commented on these attacks have condemned them, sometimes issuing statements such as the American Life League's "Pro-life proclamation against violence". Most of the attacks are carried out by individuals, but they are supported in their efforts by underground groups such as one calling itself "Army of God".
