[edit] Ailithre na Soilse

Ailithre na Soilse, or the Pilgrimage of the Lanterns, is a religion based on a cosmology of time or "experience." The name refers to the light which emanates from each point of the pantheon.

[edit] Pantheon

The pantheon is perceived as inhabiting a sphere. At the center is a nameless deity who is considered the eternal origin of all things. Then there is a vertical axis representing the continuum of the great God and Goddess. Finally there is the Quadrad of aspects which consists of 2 poles at a right angle to eachother.

These three levels are called the eternal, the discerning, and the mundane, and each has their holidays and part of the church.

Mortals are believed to travel the Wheel of the Year around the widest part of the sphere, farthest from the center. Along the wheel of the year are the 4 great festivals of the mundane.
