- Epistle of James written.
- The Council of Jerusalem. Paul, Barnabas and Titus travel to Jerusalem to meet with the leaders of the Jerusalem Church and debate whether or not Gentile converts to Christianity need to be circumcized. James the Just rules that they do not. (Acts 15:1-29; Galatians 2).
- Paul, Barnabas, Judas Barsabbas and Silas travel to Antioch with news of the Council's decision. Judas and Silas return to Jerusalem, while Paul and Barnabas remain to preach in Antioch. (Acts 15:30-35)
